Your hosts are Bob Morley and Lorraine Chittock, who met on a beach in Chile after many years of traveling.

About Bob

Bob Morley

Also known as Smellybiker, Bob explored most of Europe on a Yamaha before his 'big trip', which was supposed to be a 'one year ride around the world' but quickly got out of control.

Instead of from Argentina to Alaska, Russia & back home, he got a little distracted. Instead he rode the coastline of South America, crossed the Amazon and visted Patagonia more times than migratory wildlife.

He then rode to Alaska and went back to South America, if you know Bob this probably isn't surprising. His trusty BMW is somewhat the worse for wear, having left a trail of broken parts & oil stains all over the Americas its currently hiding in Peru.

Bob has explored most of Europe, ridden through every country in the Americas (except Venezuela which was 'never on the way to anwhere'), 35 countries and 200000km. His 'claims to fame' include 'failing to light a campfire with five litres of gasoline' and crashing in every country he's visited.

About Lorraine

Lorraine Chittock

By the age of six, Lorraine Chittock had traveled twelve times across the Atlantic Ocean with her British parents - the foundation for her nomadic life. At 18 Lorraine flouted convention by buying a motorcycle to travel solo around California. Women didn't ride in 1978. A year later she was trekking across Europe and at 23, West Africa. But she couldn't continue storing belongings with friends and quitting jobs to travel. There had to be another way. In 1991 she arrived in Egypt as a magazine photographer. Within months Lorraine was researching the legendary Forty Days Road, and a few years later crossed the Libyan Desert with 200 camels and eight Sudanese men.

After twelve years living in numerous houses and apartments in Africa and the Middle East, Lorraine decided to take her career and two Kenyan ex-street dogs on the road. The pack of three touched down at San Francisco Airport and began exploring North America in a Jeep Wrangler. Two years, 30,000 miles, and twenty-two states later, Lorraine tranferred her belongings to an old Chevy van once used as a surveillance vehicle by the Arizona police and headed to Latin America. The pack are now residing for an indeterminate amount of time in a Chilean cabin overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Lorraine has been a speaker for the past two years at Overland Expo, and is the author of DOGS WITHOUT BORDERS - TALES AND TIPS FROM THE ROAD and other travel books. www.LorraineChittock.com
